He was the decisive winner receiving 100 of a possible 130 first place votes by beating out SG James Harden (2nd place, 25 votes) and SF Lebron James (3rd place, 5 votes). Curry captured his first MVP trophy by finishing the season averaging 23.8 points per game and 7.7 assists per game, while leading the Golden State Warriors to an NBA best record of 67 - 15.
