THE SUMMER HEAT!
It goes without saying we’re crazy excited to present this new issue with legendary superstar singer, actress, entrepreneur, and now author Meelah Williams of the platinum-selling group 702! It’s not our first time on the block with Meelah. We’ve had the blessing of covering multiple events with her, but this current day is special beyond words. Meelah has ventured into the literary world as an author of her very first children’s book; Zac’s Favorite Socks, which chronicle the young boy transitioning through his first day of first grade, expectedly without his favorite socks. The story is more than touching, primarily because alone it talks into the lives of so many children who have health with this very thing, as well as parents who had to help their young children learn ways of building their confidence and self esteem, and simply learning to maneuver through new and unexpected experiences. It also taps deeply into the world of autism, which is very near and dear to Meelah, as her son was deemed autistic as an early age.
So much of the premise and purpose of this book resides within many of us, as we are constantly pushing to help our children with understanding the presence they have, their importance, and building their confidence in a world so ready to tear them down.

Meelah has long-been a positive force in our communities, and her voice hold power. We’re thrilled to help her in exercising her power in this new issue!
