"WHERE YOU GONNA GO" was written by Eric Roberson, Bryan James Sledge and Rodney Jones and produced by Eric Roberson, and Rodney Jones for Art of Artez Productions. “Where You Gonna Go” is a song that explores simple extremes”, says Roberson. “It’s inspired by a question I ask myself to help the sunshine, even when facing storms.“ A lullaby hook blended with 70’s soul, Detroit hip hop, and 3/4 gospel undertones invite listeners to engage in everything from slow dancing with a partner to praying for them. The song’s mission is to enhance people’s self-worth and growth," he adds.

One of the most talked about voices in gospel music belongs to Grammy Nominated, 3x Stellar and BMI Award-Winning artist Zacardi Cortez. Born in Houston, TX, Cortez hails from a singing family rooted in faith.

LEGENDARY & ICONIC SINGER FRANKIE BEVERLY HAS DIED…

The world is in mourning; yet again, with the passing of legendary and iconic singer Frankie Beverly. Discovered by the late Marvin Gaye, Beverly; whose actual name was Howard Stanley Beverly, began releasing music as the lead singer of Maze in 1970.

Beverly’s death was confirmed by family via a posting on social media platform Instagram. Posted just an hour ago as of press time, more than 19.000 have already viewed and posted comments of respect and condolences.

Frankie Beverly and Maze have had numerous hits and classics throughout the past six decades; including “Before I Let Go”, “Joy And Pain”, “Happy Feelin’s”, and “Back In Stride”. They’ve been recognized several times over the last 15 years, beginning in 2006 with the Rhythm And Blues Foundation Pioneer Awards for Individual Artist, then in 2010 with the Trumpet Awards. They later were honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2012 BET Awards, and an NAACP Image Award in 2024.

Last week, the GMA DOVE Awards were handed out to the best of the best in Gospel music and Jonathan McReynolds was front and center not only as presenter, but also as a winner as he walked away with the "Contemporary Gospel/Urban Recorded Song of the Year" for his smash single, "Your World."

This past summer, Jonathan McReynolds co-hosted the 38th Annual Stellar Gospel Awards alongside Tasha Cobbs Leonard. The evening was filled with lots of joy and excitement as his protege' and artist signed to his own record label, Life Room Label, multi-award winning artist, DOE, walked away with three Stellar Awards.

Earlier this year, Jonathan release his much anticipated fifth studio album, "My Truth" to rave reviews. The 12-track album still remains on top of the Billboard Magazine Gospel Charts and holding strong at #20 this week. "My Truth" delivered the powerful and former #1 Gospel song in the country, "Your World". The song went on to hold the #1 spot for 7 consecutive weeks. “Your World” reminds the listener of God’s sovereignty – a bop, intentionally upbeat, and happy. Jonathan McReynolds shares, “This song reflects my evolution and growth. I am not the same person I was when I wrote my first album. With the success of the "My Truth" album, Jonathan embarked on his national headlining "My Truth Tour." The tour became one of the most talked about tours of the spring. Jonathan would leave it all on the stage, night after night and city after city. In making sure to always give back, Jonathan partnered with Compassion International, a child sponsorship and Christian humanitarian aid organization that aims to positively influence the long-term development of children globally who live in poverty. The second song to be released from the album was the beautiful mid-tempo call-out tune, W.I.F.E. "Wife is a song about the love of my life. It truly speaks about everything that my wife means to me. She is my best-friend and the more important, she is the engine that the Ruben Studdard bus runs-on." "I thank God for my wife and I am happy that I was able to find the words and music to describe how much she means to me," shares Ruben.

Right on time for the release of the album, the song, "MASTERPIECE", serves as the official new single. "Masterpiece is a song that I instantly fell in love with in the studio, the lyrics fully describe how special one's significant other is. It's one of those, yes, that's it songs," chuckles Ruben.
