We were granted the amazing opportunity of sitting down one-on-one with emo-rap / alternative pop artist Jack Bruno, as he rolled into Cleveland, Ohio this past weekend with rapper Lil’ Mosey. Bruno has literally been on his grind for a couple short years, yet, he’s making the impact of someone who’s an industry regular. Hip-hop, and music in general has taken. dive over the past 15 to twenty years. There’s far less creativity, and it doesn’t take as much to get in these days. Gone are the days where you had to work tirelessly to get that deal. Now, it’s pretty easy to get it, for those who aren’t necessarily equipped to throw their own material out there. Bruno has come along at a time where he’s sorely needed in this game. One listen to his hit single, DVL on my SHLDR and I knew he was a force to be reckoned with. I was a little embarrassed that this was the song that reeled me in, because he’s been out here long before, definitely doing his thing.
