UPDATE: Monday, March 2, 2015. - As family, friends, and colleagues mourn the sudden death of Brownstone singer Charmayne "Maxee" Maxwell, more details have surfaced. According to reports, it seems Maxwell suffered a fall whole at home, landing on a wine glass which punctured her neck and two locations. While an autopsy has yet to be performed, police are not suspecting any foul play.
Funeral arrangements for Maxwell are still pending as of press time.

Sunday, March 1, 2015 - The music world is mourning the loss of singer Charmayne “Maxee” Maxwell. Maxwell, who was 46, is most known for her role as a member of Brownstone.
Brownstone was the marquee act signed to Michael Jackson’s imprint, MJJ Records in the mid-nineties. Together with Nicci Gilbert and Kina Cosper, Maxwell dominated the charts with two albums; From the Bottom Up and Still Climbing, before going their separate ways. The ladies reunited in 2007, first adding new member Racquel Roberts, then new member Teisha Brown in 2008.
